Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, operations research, or related area.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, logistics or materials handling.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Approximately 10% travel.
• Must be available to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Master Schedule requirements from demand forecast, plant capacity, and historical data.
• Interact with production and sales personnel to update and advise of progress and new developments.
• Manage volume and manufacturing location changes as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor inventories of raw material, work in process, and finished goods to minimize costs.
• Oversee development and maintenance of tools that enhance production planning capability.
• Conduct audits for compliance in department standards and practices.
