Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production control experience in manufacturing.
• Experience planning components from multiple suppliers.
• Balancing customer service with aggressive inventory reduction goals.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Access.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Associates degree in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Master Schedule from demand forecast, plant capacity and historical data.
• Coordinate with production, sales to update progress and developments.
• Monitor inventories to minimize costs and meet plant goals.
• Maintain and enhance planning tools and systems for the division.
• Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing to track material status and plan orders.
• Ensure production orders follow the established schedule and address discrepancies.
