Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage production scheduling and material procurement to support efficient delivery of products. You will collaborate with multiple departments to maintain production flow and address material or quality issues on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include planning and releasing production orders, managing inventory, reviewing MRP outputs, and ensuring on-time shipping while upholding the Hubbell HUS quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in planning or purchasing within a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; APICS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and release production orders for assigned commodities, adhering to production guidelines.
• Manage inventory control and implement process improvements.
• Review MRP outputs and generate shop orders to meet production needs.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules based on resource availability and capacity.
• Maintain on-time shipping performance and manage daily operational reports.
• Collaborate with Quality and Suppliers to resolve non-conforming material issues.
• Update material master records and production information as needed.
• Ensure adherence to the HUS Control Plan for quality compliance.
