Job summary

Sika, a global specialty chemicals company, seeks a production planner to prioritize and plan manufacturing processes ensuring uninterrupted production and alignment with lead-times and product demand. You will work under the Director of Supply Chain and coordinate across production, quality, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing material requirements, managing schedules, and maintaining inventory accuracy while coordinating with purchasing and receiving to meet delivery

Qualifications

• Operational knowledge of supply chain management with MRP experience.
• 3–5 years experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze material requirements generated by sales orders and MRP systems.
• Develop and manage production schedule to ensure timely production of goods.
• Generate purchase requisitions in accordance with material requirements.
• Establish stocking plans and appropriate levels for materials.
• Act as a liaison between manufacturing, quality control, purchasing and logistics to resolve discrepancies and expedite flow of materials.
