Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• 3+ years of production planning experience in manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Experience with SAP is required.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and revise production schedules when required due to changes, shortages, backlogs, or interruptions, collaborating across departments.
• Maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production needs.
• Examine documents and system reports to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Review production schedules, work orders, BOMs, and staffing tables to determine resource requirements.
• Confer with supervisors to assess progress and discuss changes as needed.
• Coordinate production and shipping activities with vendors and customers to resolve delays.
• Record production data including volumes, material usage, and quality measures.
• Calculate labor and material requirements and manufacturing costs using pricing schedules or software.
• Distribute schedules and work orders to departments.
• Process validation and engineering documents such as drawings and vendor data sheets.
• Compile information for status reports on production rates and inventories.
• Develop forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
