Job summary

Teledyne Micropac is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate schedules, material availability and manufacturing priorities to meet delivery commitments. The ideal candidate has experience in regulated environments and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, managing master plans, coordinating with Supply Chain, and updating ERP/MRP systems while tracking KPIs and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Epicor.
• Strong understanding of planning, inventory control and capacity planning.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory and capacity.
• Create and manage master production plans to support objectives and commitments.
• Analyze requirements to identify capacity constraints and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure material availability.
• Monitor WIP and throughput to support schedule adherence.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data and report key KPIs (OTD, schedule attainment, inventory).
• Lead planning meetings and communicate schedule risks and mitigations.
• Develop recovery plans for shortages or demand changes.
