Job summary

Ferrero USA, a leading global confectionery manufacturer, is seeking a Production Planner to support our Somerset, NJ operations. The role involves developing short- and long-term plans aligned with demand, inventory, material availability, and capacity, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize throughput and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field required.
• 3–5+ years in food manufacturing or co-packaging preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to troubleshoot technological problems.
• Rotating shift environment experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and long-term Production and Capacity Planning for 300+ finished goods and 1500+ MRP codes.
• Review and adjust production schedules based on demand, material availability, and priorities.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehousing, Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve constraints.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages, excesses, or risks.
• Lead weekly production planning meetings and communicate priorities and risks.
• Ensure accurate production declarations for correct billing and component accuracy.
