Job summary

Italmatch USA Corporation seeks a Production Planner to coordinate and maintain production planning and scheduling for the Smyrna Plant, ensuring alignment with customer demand, inventory objectives, and operational constraints. You will work with Operations, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, and Sales to optimize production flow and material availability.

The role requires 3–5 years in production planning or related fields, a SCM degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or related manufacturing functions.
Experience in process or chemical manufacturing preferred.
CPIM or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules based on demand, orders, inventory, and plant capacity.
Coordinate with Operations and other departments to ensure materials are available when required.
Adjust schedules and priorities in response to changing requirements and constraints.
Monitor progress and identify risks that could impact customer commitments; optimize capacity and inventory levels.
Collaborate with Customer Service and other teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
