Job summary

Italmatch USA Corporation is seeking a Production Manager to lead the Smyrna Plant's manufacturing operations, ensuring safe and efficient production while driving continuous improvement and employee engagement.

You will develop schedules, coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Logistics, and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA/PSM. The role emphasizes Lean initiatives, KPI monitoring, and budgeted production reporting, with supervision of a skilled operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in chemical manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Knowledge of batch processing and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/MES systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass DHS background check, pre-placement physical including respirator clearance, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations at the Smyrna Plant.
• Develop and execute production schedules; optimize personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Logistics.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, PSM, RCRA compliance; lead safety meetings and investigations.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement; monitor KPIs (output, yield, downtime, OEE).
• Coach and develop supervisors, operators, and technicians; conduct performance reviews.
