Job summary

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, seeks a Production Manager in McKinney, TX to lead daily manufacturing and assembly operations. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals while managing the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Technician.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of technical manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory/management role within an ERP-supported production environment.
• Experience with production scheduling, safety, quality systems, continuous improvement, and cross-functional problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and assembly operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals.
• Manage the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Technician; direct production technicians; set priorities and staffing.
• Coordinate shop orders, monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and support diverse, low-volume, complex work.
• Work with Engineering to address technical issues, nonconformances, and process improvements; update tooling and documentation.
• Maintain accurate ERP production data and improve workflow and process control.
• Oversee inventory of critical fixtures and hardware; coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor matters.
• Ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed and lead safety trainings.
