Job summary

Mini-Circuits in Melville, NY, is seeking a Production Control Planner to build and maintain supply and production plans that align with demand forecasts. You will convert MRP signals into production orders, monitor inventory, and collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering and QA to ensure on-time customer deliveries.

This role reports to the Production Control Manager and offers opportunities to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency across the manufacturing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of MRP, demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
• APICS/ASCM certification preferred.
• Lean and Six Sigma familiarity advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production control plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Convert MRP signals into production orders and material requirements.
• Actively monitor and address production and supply issues to prevent disruptions.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering and QA.
• Identify and mitigate capacity constraints to maintain balanced workflow.
• Perform data-driven analyses and what-if scenario modeling.
