Job summary

Parker Hannifin's Fluid Systems Division in Elyria, Ohio, invites an experienced Product Portfolio Manager I to lead a comprehensive product strategy for one or more product lines within a regional scope. You will own the roadmap, validate user needs, and coordinate cross-functionally to deliver value.

You will drive sales and margin growth, guide teams in engineering, supply chain, sales and production, and manage lifecycle from ideation to obsolescence, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Business; MBA desirable.
• 8+ years product management experience in engineering or related industry.
• 6+ years of managerial/leadership experience in product portfolios.
• Experience owning product lifecycle from design concept to end-of-life.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Salesforce).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Directs a comprehensive strategy for multiple product lines to drive sales and margin expansion.
• Owns the product lifecycle from concept through launch and end-of-life.
• Leads cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, sales and production.
• Develops product value propositions and launches.
• Monitors market trends and competitive threats to adjust roadmaps.
• Collaborates with marketing, design and customers to validate needs.
