Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Product Manager for a defined product line within the Motion Systems Group. You will lead product strategy, promotions, pricing, and channel decisions, working with engineering, supply chain, sales and production to optimize the full product life cycle and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization while delivering on business objectives and market growth.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required, preferably in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Business.
• Minimum six years of product management experience.
• Minimum four years of managerial/leadership experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with Salesforce and Microsoft Office; SAP experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Drive product line strategy including promotion, pricing, and channel.
• Monitor sales, margins and take actions to improve performance.
• Lead multi-generational roadmap and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and sales.
• Define customer requirements and ensure compliance with government standards.
• Manage product lifecycle, end-of-life, and POP adoption.
• Develop value propositions and lead new product launches.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitors.
• Attend customer visits, conferences, trade shows as required.
