Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Product Planning Manager to translate U.S. consumer and market insights into differentiated digital appliances concepts. You will lead idea development with global and regional teams to drive growth, shaping the product line-up and strategy for the DA division.

Strong business and tech acumen, plus Korean/English communication, are essential. You will manage ideation workshops, quantify market opportunities, and collaborate with Korea HQ and North America

Qualifications

• 6 years of full-time experience in Product Planning or Product Management.
• Bilingual in Korean and English, enabling clear communication with global stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of both business and technology.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Proven ability to apply systems thinking and bring ideas to market.
• Strong business acumen with broad exposure to strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and product development.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with consumer data analysis (e.g., review crawling, Sprinklr usability) a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of Samsung Digital Appliances product line-up by translating insights into innovative concepts.
• Lead new concept development and strategic execution with global and regional teams.
• Develop strategies for new concepts, including market sizing, pricing, sales revenue and quantity forecasting, and go-to-market plans.
• Collaborate with Samsung DA Korea HQ to assess technical feasibility, align product line-ups, and calculate ROI.
• Partner with the North America RHQ and subsidiary teams to gather regional insights and align with sales strategies.
• Investigate and collaborate with external companies to explore potential partnerships for new concept development.
• Present new concepts and their strategic rationale to Samsung DA Korea HQ to secure alignment and investment.
