Job summary

Trident Systems Inc. in Fairfax, VA seeks a Product Manager to own the product road map, drive technical execution, and coordinate across hardware, software, and systems teams within the IC business unit.

You'll translate engineering guidance into actionable work, manage integration across PM&L and MDC portfolios, and work with leadership to align priorities with available resources and project timelines in a defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of related experience or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.
Experience in product management, systems engineering, or technical integration.
Experience in lab-based development and integration environments.
Ability to translate high-level direction into actionable engineering guidance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

Responsibilities

Own the product development lifecycle for one or more IC product lines.
Translate high‑level guidance into actionable technical direction for labs and engineers.
Monitor lab activities to ensure alignment across hardware, software, and integration.
Develop initial design concepts including cable assemblies and system interconnects.
Ensure cohesive system integration across subsystems and architectures.
Document integration approaches and decisions for engineering teams.
Support design reviews, demonstrations, and field activities.
