Job summary

Trident Systems is seeking a Product Manager in Fairfax, VA to own the product roadmap, drive technical execution, and align efforts across PM&L and MDC portfolios with engineering leadership. You will translate high-level direction into concrete tasks for hardware, software, and mechanical teams.

The role emphasizes rapid iteration, clear integration concepts, and coordinated design across subsystems to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of related experience OR 4+ years with a Master’s degree (10+ years in lieu).
• Experience in product management, systems engineering, or technical integration.
• Experience in lab-based development and integration environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Own the product development lifecycle for one or more of the ICS product lines.
• Translate high-level guidance into actionable technical direction for labs and engineering.
• Monitor day-to-day lab activities to ensure hardware, software, and integration alignment.
• Develop and communicate initial design concepts including cable assemblies and enclosures.
• Provide clear guidance to engineers to enable efficient execution of designs.
• Document integration approaches and decisions for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineering managers to align priorities with resources.
• Track progress and elevate risks to leadership as needed.
• Support system bring-up, integration validation, and lab testing.
• Assist with demonstrations or field activities as required.
