Job summary

Applied Materials in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Change Manager to lead PCM, ECO processes and PCN implementations across global teams. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and field service to ensure smooth product changes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing BOM accuracy, configuration settings, and roadmaps for modules post Phase 5 of ePLC, plus cost-reduction initiatives and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Owns product change management (PCM) and control
• Approves unreleased product changes and ECOs
• Implements PCN with Global Product Support, tracking customer impact
• Manages field service activities and filters system feedback affecting customers
• Ensures accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs
• Conducts CaRM reviews for configuration accuracy; ensures BOM accuracy
• Manages NSR approvals for non-standard requests
• Owns roadmaps for common modules post Phase 5 of ePLC
• Develops component roadmaps including obsolescence, replacements, vendors, cost reduction
• Coordinates intercompany pricing, spare levels and restricted parts; aligns roadmaps
• Implements cost-reduction roadmaps
• Manages strategic vendor issues and supplier relationships
• Controls changes post-release driven by engineering, quality, safety or customer demand
