Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a VPP Product Accounting Sr. Analyst to support the Insurance Accounting group and deliver timely financial results in conformity with US GAAP. You will partner with multiple departments to provide insights and drive action across the organization.

Reporting to the VPP Product Accounting Manager, you will help develop capabilities, maintain high standards of financial integrity, and contribute to business growth with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP; Power Query desirable).
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to partner with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Evaluate reasonableness of financial information from partners and research fluctuations.
• Prepare and review schedules for internal/external audits.
• Propose improvements and leverage technology to streamline analyses.
• Act as SME and lead representative with Reinsurance, FP&A, and Product Ops.
• Provide training and support to team members.
