Job summary

RingTele is seeking a Strategic Procurement & Vendor Manager to take ownership of procurement practices, negotiate favorable terms, and build lasting relationships with telecom vendors. You will identify cost savings, optimize purchasing processes, and forecast needs while maintaining strong partnerships across locations.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, vendor management, and proactive, organized procurement leadership to support RingTele's growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in service-based contract negotiation.
• Experience with hardware or material procurement and vendor management is preferred.
• Ability to analyze procurement data and forecast needs.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with existing vendors.
• Source and evaluate new vendors.
• Strengthen strategic relationships with providers and suppliers.
• Improve purchasing processes through bids and PO management.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing data to forecast needs.
• Manage vendor contracts and renewal dates.
• Address vendor performance issues and conduct annual reviews.
• Report monthly on vendor savings and activity to leadership.

What You'll Do as a Strategic Procurement & Vendor Manager

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with existing vendors to strengthen value while maintaining productive long‑term relationships.
• Source and evaluate new vendors, comparing pricing, capabilities, terms, and overall fit for RingTele's purchasing needs.
• Strengthen strategic relationships with telecom providers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Improve purchasing processes by managing competitive bids and purchase orders, standardizing procedures, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing data to forecast needs, maintain accuracy, reduce obsolete inventory, and coordinate warranties and returns.
• Manage vendor contracts, agreements, renewal dates, compliance requirements, and automatic renewals.
• Address vendor performance issues and conduct annual reviews to ensure suppliers continue to meet RingTele's expectations.
• Report monthly to leadership on vendor savings, contract renewals, inventory, purchasing activity, vendor performance, and future cost‑saving opportunities.
• Experienced Negotiator: 5+ years of experience in service‑based contract negotiation and is confident advocating for strong pricing, terms, and agreements.
• Strategic & Analytical: Looks beyond day‑to‑day purchasing to evaluate options, identify trends, control costs, and make informed procurement decisions.
• Procurement‑Savvy: Experience with hardware or material procurement, vendor management, and inventory management is preferred.
• Proactive & Organized: Anticipates purchasing and inventory needs, keeps contracts and renewals organized, and identifies opportunities before they become issues.
• Tech‑Comfortable Communicator: Uses Microsoft Office Suite confidently and communicates effectively with vendors, leadership, and internal teams.
• Relationship‑Focused: Builds productive partnerships and contributes to RingTele's collaborative, values‑driven culture.
