Job summary

• Strong inventory control, planning, and material flow skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Deep understanding of commodity purchasing and supply chain dynamics.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Data-driven decision making and analytical capability.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Five years of supervisory/managerial procurement or supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, finance, and sales to align procurement with forecasts and production plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and secondary sources.
• Lead vendor selection, onboarding, qualification, and performance management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms for optimal value.
• Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain resources for effective supply chain.
• Maintain and analyze inventories of materials and supplies to optimize production.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers in coordination with other departments.
