Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related fields, focusing on procurement, supply chain management and operations.
• Five years of experience as a supervisor or manager in procurement and/or supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Deep understanding of commodity purchasing and supply chain dynamics.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, finance, and sales to align procurement with forecasts and production plans.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and secondary sources.
• Lead vendor selection, onboarding, qualification, and ongoing performance management.
• Implement supplier scorecards (cost, quality, delivery, service).
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms for optimal value.
• Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis.
• Collaborate with departments and identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
• Maintain and analyze detailed inventories of materials and supplies.
• Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers, working with other departments.
