Job summary

Ironsmith Fire, LLC is seeking a Procurement Manager to establish and lead a centralized procurement and supply chain function supporting all branches and departments. You will own end-to-end procure-to-pay, source field materials and IT equipment, negotiate terms, and optimize inventory and supplier performance.

The role requires strong supplier relationships, cost management, and process improvements across multiple locations, with potential overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management with supplier negotiations.
• Experience in project-based or job-cost environments.
• Working knowledge of ERP purchasing and inventory modules, procure-to-pay workflows, including three-way match.
• Experience managing supplier relationships across multiple categories.
• Experience overseeing inventory across multiple locations, including cycle counts and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead company-wide procure-to-pay from requisition to vendor payment.
• Source and procure field materials, equipment, IT hardware/software, and office supplies.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery, and service levels; standardize catalogs and purchasing arrangements.
• Forecast material requirements and secure long-lead items to avoid delays.
• Ensure materials meet project specs and approvals; manage inbound logistics and receiving.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for three-way match and timely vendor payments.
• Lead inventory controls, cycle counts, and reporting of procurement KPIs.
• Develop and implement centralized procurement processes and governance.
