Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, and inventory control for our energy control solutions division in Fort Collins, CO.

You will negotiate terms, optimize costs, ensure compliance, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality materials on time. A SAP background and APICS CPIM certification are preferred; 5+ years in procurement is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
• Experience in supplier relationship management to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Ability to manage costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Experience with contract management and supplier compliance.
• Inventory management to balance stock and demand.
• Data analysis to optimize procurement processes.
• Strong communication with internal teams and suppliers.
• Problem solving to resolve procurement issues and disruptions.
• Experience with compliance and risk management in purchasing.
• Ability to drive supplier performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels to anticipate needs and prevent stockouts.
• Negotiate prices and PO terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure collaboration.
