Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead purchasing procedures for components and oversee procurement, inventory, and distribution. The role acts as the primary contact between suppliers, product teams, and clients to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in a similar role, demonstrated negotiation and relationship management skills, and experience with CRM platforms and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a purchasing/procurement role.
• Experience with CRM platforms and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
• Understanding of risk management and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish purchasing procedures for procurement, inventory, and distribution of components.
• Serve as main liaison between suppliers, product teams, and clients.
• Lead RFQ/RFP/RFI solicitation and preparation.
• Coordinate purchase orders with internal teams.
• Perform price and cost analysis, and negotiate proposals.
• Manage vendor quality, design, and payment terms.
• Administer contracts and ensure on-time delivery per program requirements.
• Analyze MRP needs and identify multiple US supply bases for long-lead items.
