Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager, Procurement Management to oversee the end-to-end procurement process from strategic sourcing to contracting. You will manage supplier selection, ensure policy compliance, and drive diversity and sustainability initiatives while leading a team of procurement specialists.

The role requires strong analytics, leadership, and experience in procurement operations within the pharmaceutical space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function.
• Previous experience managing teams and comprehensive understanding of procurement operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities from strategic sourcing to contracting, aligning with category strategic vision.
• Maintain compliance with procurement policy and fulfill supplier diversity and sustainability requirements.
• Drive supplier management and alignment to SRM strategy with Procurement Leads and Category Managers.
• Implement risk mitigation plans with Category Managers and monitor supplier performance.
• Maintain excellence in contract execution from source to contract and requisition to pay.
• Enable savings and assurance of supply, manage leakage across procurement processes.
• Administer continuous improvement projects within PSC team and drive innovation.
• Lead and nurture Specialists, set performance targets, coach, and evaluate team performance.
• Partner with Procurement leaders and business partners to define workforce needs and capabilities.
