Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or business with 3 years of procurement experience, or Technical diploma with 4 years in procurement, or two years at Purchase/Procurement Agent 2.
• Georgia Procurement Manual area-specific certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates, and implements procurement strategy for assigned less-complex category(s).
• Sets sourcing strategy based on procurement objectives, customer needs, and market dynamics.
• Compiles and analyzes data and benchmarks spend for target savings.
• Develops RFQs, RFPs, and other solicitation documents; ensures clear specifications.
• Supports evaluation criteria and vendor selection for less complex solicitations.
• Develops negotiation strategies and leads negotiations for less complex categories.
• Serves as central point of contact for customers and vendors; maintains communication.
• Monitors contract lifecycle and vendor performance against obligations; advises on improvements.
