Job summary

State of Florida’s Department of Health is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to oversee advanced procurement of diversified commodities and services for HQ operations and program teams. You will lead competitive solicitations, coordinate contract administration, and liaise with the contract managers, general counsel, and MFMP requirements.

You will review and process requisitions, sponsor requests, and vendor disputes, while updating policies and guides.

Responsibilities

• Advanced and technical work in procurement of diversified and complex commodities/services
• Lead on competitive solicitations and contract administration
• Review and approve MFMP requisitions for commodities and services
• Process Sponsorship Requests, ACS, and Vendor Transaction Fee Disputes
• Serve as Vendor Transaction Fee Dispute Liaison
• Backup for processing formal Statements of Work
• Attend meetings and keep current with purchasing rules and procedures
• Assist with updating Purchasing Policies and Guides
• Direct and conduct workshops
• Collaborate with program offices to meet purchasing requirements timely and economically
