Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Purchasing professional to place and manage purchase orders and subcontracts for direct contract and indirect company-support acquisitions, ensuring timely delivery and favorable terms.

You will maintain accurate MRP data, lead negotiations with suppliers, align procurement activities with program requirements, monitor supplier performance, and resolve discrepancies in delivery, invoicing, and receiving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience in supply chain OR 9+ years of experience in purchasing in lieu of a degree
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to persuade and explain complex ideas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with procurement management and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Place and manage purchase orders and subcontracts for direct and indirect acquisitions.
• Monitor and expedite open purchase orders according to project requirements.
• Manage relevant PO data in MRP system to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, price, and schedule.
• Ensure program requirements are prioritized and executed to meet needs.
• Communicate supplier performance risks to internal customers.
• Resolve discrepancies related to purchasing, delivery, receiving, and invoices.
