Job summary

ADS Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Procurement Process Specialist to drive purchasing efficiency and deliver cost-effective solutions. You will manage large POs, coordinate with suppliers, and provide timely tracking information to Sales, ensuring quality and fiduciary compliance.

The role requires at least 2 years in procurement or customer service, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A 1-year commitment is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Procurement and/or Customer Service experience in a non-call center environment.
• 2 years' experience in Microsoft Office applications with a focus on Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Please note: all individuals accepting a position in Procurement are expected to make a 1-year commitment.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing all items for ADS from assigned vendors typically will work with preferred vendors.
• Manage and approve purchase orders up to $1,000,000 and review POs for pricing accuracy.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure service and quality.
• Coordinate tracking information and communicate delays to Sales.
• Use CRM (Salesforce) to maintain transparency with PO/vendor communications.
• Resolve vendor PO non-conformance issues to minimize customer disruption.
