Job summary

Strategic Storage Partners, LLC seeks a procurement professional to secure best quality, service, and value through effective solicitation, negotiation, and supplier management. Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and arrange delivery for PO close-out and cost efficiency.

The role covers reviewing requisitions, issuing POs, evaluating bids, developing alternate sources, and ensuring audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and 1 year of direct procurement administration experience
• Supply Chain Management Degree, OR
• HS diploma and 2 years direct procurement administration experience
• Experience with buying for maintenance and operations projects, production facilities, or processing plants
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of internet-based e-commerce tools
• Excellent negotiation and verbal communication skills; price reasonableness analysis; understanding of purchasing principles and regulations (FAR/DFAR)
• Certifications: CPM, CPSM, CSCP are a plus

Responsibilities

• Reviews PRs and recommends suppliers by researching parts, equipment, and services
• Develops bidder lists and initiates RFQ/solicitations
• Prepares quotations and submits POs with approved suppliers
• Evaluates bids and selects suppliers; negotiates price, delivery, and service
• Monitors supplier performance and resolves shipment quality issues
• Maintains audit-ready files and supports DOE approvals as required
