Job summary

Pureflow, Inc. is seeking an experienced Buyer/Procurement professional to join our team in Irving, Texas.

You will negotiate components, equipment, and supplies from vendors, manage PO entry in ERP, and drive cost reduction initiatives across the supplier base. You will collaborate with engineering, project managers, and operations to expedite delivery, monitor supplier performance, and ensure on-time procurement for complex water purification projects.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years direct purchasing experience in an OEM environment.
• Experience in materials management, inventory control, and logistics.
• Knowledge of mechanical items and electrical components.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Logistics preferred.
• Competent with ERP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate components, equipment, and supplies from vendors/suppliers.
• Accurately enter purchase orders into ERP with ship date.
• Improve purchasing procedures and controls; document and implement procedures.
• Expedite supply and prioritize suppliers to meet emergency and project needs.
• Work with internal customers to expedite and resolve supply issues.
• Provide delivery dates to project managers, service, and operations.
• Qualify, source, and negotiate to identify cost reductions with suppliers.
• Evaluate current supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
• Interact daily with engineering and suppliers.
• Manage sourcing during project phases as main interface with suppliers.
• Be active in the network of Project Buyers.
• Measure supplier performance and drive issue resolution.
