Job summary

You will evaluate supplier competitiveness, negotiate strategic contracts, and manage supplier development and risk analysis to meet operational objectives while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.

Job description

Oversee the procurement process, effectively sourcing segments and/or commodities of increasing complexity. Understands strategies for assigned segments or commodities and takes proactive steps to meet procurement objectives by evaluating supplier competitiveness, service quality, and leveraging purchasing power through strategic contract negotiation, supplier development, and risk analysis. Also responsible for ordering goods, supplies, equipment, and raw materials to support operations and services in accordance with purchasing policies, regulations, and procedures.
