Job summary

Full Circle Co in Conroe, TX, is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, PO management, and supplier coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will optimize costs, monitor orders, and build strong supplier relationships while ensuring materials arrive on time to meet production needs. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Warehousing to prevent shortages and improve procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, buyer, or supply chain experience.
• Manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience with purchase orders, vendor negotiations, and supplier management.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP or purchasing systems preferred.
• Strong Excel, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, components, equipment, and supplies.
• Create, issue, and track purchase orders.
• Obtain and compare vendor quotes based on price, quality, and lead time.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms.
• Monitor open orders and follow up on shortages or delivery delays.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and identify new vendors when needed.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Operations.
• Assist with inventory planning and preventing material shortages.
• Resolve incorrect shipments, pricing discrepancies, and supplier issues.
• Identify cost-saving and procurement improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records.
