Job summary

CST Industries, Inc. is looking for a Commodity Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Conroe, TX.

You will support procurement strategy and execution across materials and services, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery objectives while collaborating with internal stakeholders. You will drive supplier negotiations, monitor supplier performance, and maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy to prevent shortages and improve on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field; 2+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing and managing suppliers, creating POs, tracking deliveries.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (D365 preferred) and strong data accuracy discipline.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure assigned commodities to support business needs with timely, cost-effective acquisition.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, terms, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels; coordinate with teams to ensure stock and replenishment.
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
