Job summary

Acme Cryogenics, Inc. in Ball Ground, GA, is seeking a Buyer to support daily production. You will execute sourcing strategies, create POs, and coordinate quotes to optimize cost and supply across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of procurement experience in manufacturing and an associate or bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

2–4 years of procurement experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Associate degree in business or supply chain preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain preferred.
Experience in project management, sourcing, supplier relationships and vendor communication.
Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist Sr. Buyer/Planner to implement sourcing projects and cost-reduction initiatives.
Create and reconcile purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory items.
Coordinate quotes for Sr. Buyer/Planner and expedite materials as needed.
Build and maintain supplier relationships to reduce costs and inefficiencies.
Support day-to-day procurement activities and import coordination as required.
