Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a new graduate for an Associate, Procurement role in Huntsville, AL. You will assist in maintaining strategic alliances, issuing RFIs/RFQs, analyzing responses, and placing purchase orders to support timely delivery and supplier quality.

You will work with the Purchasing organization to streamline fulfillment, ensure compliance with company policies, and participate in risk assessments with vendors.

Qualifications

• New graduate in procurement or related field.
• Able to send RFQ/ information/proposal/quote requests and analyze responses.
• Able to justify procurements and place purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Procure material, equipment, supplies, services, and commodities.
• Evaluate cost and analyze supplier bids to attain best overall value.
• Negotiate price, delivery, and quality; determine supplier selections.
• Track Purchase Orders through reports and resolve discrepancies with receiving and accounting.
• Manage supplier relationships through the acquisition process.
• Confer with suppliers to control total cost of ownership and ensure on-time delivery.
• Interpret FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws and regulatory requirements.
