Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a results-driven procurement and project leader to drive sourcing strategy, productivity, and continuous improvement across manufacturing environments. You will partner with commodity teams and stakeholders to develop charters, execution plans, and resource needs while managing active initiatives including NPD, VAVE, and supplier changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, engineering, PM, or operations.
• Strong procurement process knowledge.
• Ability to lead multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, financial, and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple procurement projects across Thermo King Trailer platform.
• Develop project charters, execution plans, and resource requirements.
• Manage active procurement initiatives including NPD, VAVE, and supplier changes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to meet timelines and financial targets.
• Track procurement metrics: productivity, inflation, supplier quality, on-time delivery.
• Identify gaps, implement countermeasures, escalate issues when needed.
• Support plant material/quality escalations and month-end reporting.
• Align commodity strategies with business priorities and product management.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities for selection and contracts.
• Participate in productivity gate reviews and cross-functional alignment.
