Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency seeks a Procurement Analyst to support the Procurement Process Owner and senior management by recommending process improvements and serving as an expert advisor on functional programs.

You will coordinate with Business Process Analysts, conduct EBS procurement system trainings, and help end users with EBS helpdesks, leveraging knowledge of EBS functionality and business capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Specialized Experience: one year of experience with contracting methods, FAR, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Recommending changes in how the process is executed, including system changes or other process improvements.
• Serving as an expert analyst and advisor to the Procurement Process Owner and other senior-level management on functional programs and process improvement initiatives.
• Conducting Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) procurement systems training, conducting briefings, presenting findings, and extracting information from users of the EBS procurement systems.
• Coordinating with Business Process Analysts throughout the Procurement Process area to assist EBS end users and capture problems via the EBS Helpdesks.
• Understanding and utilizing the Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) procurement system functionality and business capabilities.
