Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
• 4 years of acquisition experience.
• Specialized experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent.
• DoD certification within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the agency’s expert on procurement system functionality and business capabilities and influence how procurement is executed.
• Evaluate contracting policy and legislation, identify risks, and assess impacts.
• Develop and recommend contracting legislation, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Study policies to anticipate challenges, risks, and dependencies affecting processes and data.
• Provide expert policy interpretation to agency management and adapt guidance to changing requirements.
