Job summary

Nucor Fastener Indiana is seeking a Purchasing/OSP Coordinator to support our Purchasing and Outside Processing (OSP) operations. This position coordinates supplier communications, supports outside processing activities, and ensures information flows between suppliers and internal teams.

You will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of purchasing, supply chain, or procurement experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Two or more years of manufacturing purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of outside processing (OSP), supplier management, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supplier communications, RFQs, pricing updates and supplier development activities.
• Support Purchasing/OSP Manager in daily purchasing and outside processing activities.
• Maintain supplier information, including capacities, capabilities, certifications, and approved vendor records.
• Prepare weekly OSP meeting materials and maintain action item lists.
• Monitor action items, owners, and due dates to ensure timely follow-up.
• Assist with maintaining supplier scorecards and KPI reporting.
• Assist with OSP purchase order management and supplier pricing updates.
• Support communication between Purchasing, Production Scheduling, Shipping, Quality, Operations and suppliers.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Serve as back-up for Buyer and OSP Expeditor teammates.
