ANDRITZ PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST in Pell City, AL, will oversee purchasing of shop materials and maintain records for deliveries and invoices. Strong communication with internal and external customers is essential.

Responsibilities include daily purchasing operations, ERP entry, vendor negotiations, inventory optimization, and reporting. Candidates should have ERP experience, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with supply chain practices; manufacturing background preferred.

Qualifications

Experience using Microsoft Office; advanced Excel preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Point Man/Syteline).
Ability to understand and execute verbal instructions while handling multiple tasks.
Strong analytical skills for financial reports and cost analysis.
Understanding of supply chain procedures and vendor sourcing practices.
Ability to work with shop floor personnel and address issues promptly.
Previous plant/manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsabilités

Perform daily purchasing, vendor return processing, inventory needs, and reporting.
Purchase raw materials, maintenance, MRO, safety, office supplies; manage inventories.
Review min/max and adjust stocking levels for optimal inventory.
Enter purchase orders in ERP; verify receipts against POs and track orders.
Negotiate terms with suppliers as needed; address quality issues and shortages.
Research potential vendors and compare offers; keep purchase records updated.
Submit part reports and maintain records of purchased items and invoices.
Generate status reports (weekly statistics) for projects.
