• 2-4 years of experience in procurement, planning, or related roles
• Food/CPG industry experience preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Ability to translate data into procurement and planning recommendations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative team player across Supply Chain, Operations and Finance

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to meet cost and service targets
• Build and maintain supplier relationships; track performance for quality, delivery, and compliance
• Support material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure timely materials
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams on material flow
• Take on increased planning responsibilities over time, including MRP parameters and safety stock
• Prepare reports and dashboards on inventory status, supplier performance, and costs
• Identify risks and opportunities using data and communicate actionable improvements
• Ensure procurement and planning comply with policies, food safety standards, and regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement to streamline purchasing and planning workflows
• Support cross-functional projects within Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality
