Axion Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist for a food packaging manufacturer in Grand Prairie, TX. You will support purchasing and material planning, collaborating with Production, Warehouse and Operations to ensure timely materials.

Responsibilities include managing POs, supplier coordination, inventory monitoring, and ERP-based data accuracy while aiming to optimize costs and supplier performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Manufacturing purchasing experience preferred.
• Experience managing purchase orders and suppliers.
• Strong inventory and material planning knowledge.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• ERP or MRP system experience preferred.
• Food, packaging or similar manufacturing experience advantageous.

We're recruiting for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join an established food packaging manufacturer in Grand Prairie, TX. This role will support purchasing and material planning across the facility, working closely with suppliers, Production, Warehouse and Operations to ensure materials are available when needed.

What You'll Do

• Purchase raw materials, packaging supplies and production materials
• Manage purchase orders from placement through delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and material requirements
• Work with suppliers on pricing, availability and lead times
• Track orders and resolve late or incomplete deliveries
• Maintain accurate purchasing information within the ERP system
• Support inventory planning and prevent material shortages

What We're Looking For

• Previous procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience
• Manufacturing purchasing experience preferred
• Experience managing purchase orders and suppliers
• Strong inventory and material planning knowledge
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• ERP or MRP system experience preferred
• Food, packaging or similar manufacturing experience is advantageous
