Cacique Foods in Irving, TX is seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage procurement for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods while supporting material planning to align with production schedules.

You will negotiate pricing, monitor supplier performance, and maintain MRP-driven planning to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory turns. Strong analytics and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
2–4 years in procurement or planning within a supply chain environment.
Experience in food/CPG industry is preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel for analytics.

Responsabilités

Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to reduce costs and meet SLA targets.
Build supplier relationships and monitor performance for quality, delivery, and compliance.
Support materials planning and MRP to ensure timely material availability.
Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans to prevent stockouts.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to align material flow.
Develop reports on inventory status, supplier performance, and cost metrics.
Identify risks and opportunities using data and recommend improvements.
