Job summary

Suzano Packaging is seeking a Procurement Manager for our Pine Bluff, AR facility. You will develop, implement, and oversee strategies for Services, MRO, Raw Materials, Capex, and Obsolete Assets, while organizing the storeroom and maintaining strong supplier partnerships.

You will lead teams, drive KPI-based performance, and pursue cost-saving opportunities locally and internationally, including digital transformation of procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferably within supply chain management, procurement or related field).
• 5+ years of direct experience in supply chain and/or procurement.
• Experience in storeroom management, including spare parts management.
• 5+ years of previous leadership experience managing teams.
• SAP experience, with SAP MM / WM module.
• Project Management experience, in Fundamentals and Negotiation.
• Regulatory Standards experience with ISO – OHSAS.
• Green Belt in Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Experience in people management.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy for Services, Raw Materials, MRO, Waste Sales, Capex items and the management of Obsolete Assets.
• Manage storeroom and inventory control.
• Lead General Shutdowns procurement strategy.
• Align purchasing strategy to optimize service levels for Packaging.
• Train and develop teams focused on results, innovation, and productivity.
• Achieve goals with KPIs and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee annual expense and investment budget analysis.
• Maintain cross-department relationships to foster innovation.
• Lead digital transformation of the department.
• Manage warehouse operations and inventory.
