Suzano Packaging in Pine Bluff, AR, seeks a Senior Logistics Manager to lead warehousing, shipping, transportation, and 3PL oversight, ensuring OTIF targets and cost control. You will partner with Production, Procurement, Customer Service, and other teams to modernize logistics processes and build a strong leadership pipeline.

The role emphasizes developing the team, boosting productivity, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining safe, reliable operations across rail and truck

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering
• Significant experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain ops in manufacturing or similar environment
• Proven experience leading teams and managing day-to-day logistics operations
• Experience with railroad transportation operations
• Experience with truck transportation, freight management, warehousing, and logistics service providers
• Experience leading change, process improvement, or operational transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day logistics operations across warehousing, shipping, transportation, and finished goods activities.
• Oversee transportation operations using rail and truck to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage 3PLs, external warehouses, freight partners, and related logistics ops for service and cost.
• Lead and develop the logistics leadership team and broader org, building succession plans.
• Build a strong internal talent pipeline to support workforce planning and leadership needs.
• Develop and monitor logistics scorecards and KPIs (OTIF, costs, service levels).
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Customer Service to align production, inventory, and capacity.
• Drive change management to modernize logistics processes and improve productivity.
• Oversee freight, export, and transportation activities to optimize costs and service.
• Manage and resolve logistics-related customer claims and root-cause actions.
