Umicore Group, Bayport site in the United States, is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead indirect materials sourcing. You will localize regional and global category strategies, manage supplier negotiations, and ensure timely contract development and onboarding.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to operate independently in a matrix organization with strong accountability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder updates and documentation of sourcing activities.

Mansioni

• Localize and execute regional/global category strategies tailored to Bayport site needs and develop site-specific sourcing plans.
• Identify and deliver value through competitive bidding, cost avoidance, and efficiency gains.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and contract development for indirect materials.
• Ensure purchase orders, contracts, supplier onboarding, and related docs are completed accurately and on time.
• Mitigate supplier risks and ensure ESG compliance and alignment with corporate standards.
• Establish KPIs, scorecards, and review mechanisms for critical indirect suppliers.
• Provide routine updates to leadership and maintain progress tracking against plan.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Site Management, Engineering, Operations, and Finance.
