Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and 3 years of related professional experience in procurement.
• Experience including development of procurement procedures and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement activities in compliance with state and federal laws and university policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Review requisitions to generate purchase orders and distribute to suppliers.
• Develop RFQs, RFPs and IFBs and assist customers with scope/specifications.
• Maintain vendor files and verify disbarment status in sam.gov.
• Provide training on procurement policies and systems to staff and faculty.
