Job summary

Lennox AES, a division of Lennox, seeks a Procurement Manager to direct buyers and purchasing agents. You will negotiate with suppliers, establish cost-efficient procurement programs, and monitor vendor performance across multiple sites including Reno, NV; Weatherford, TX; and Wheeling, WV.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), 8+ years experience, and up to 20% travel. Starting salary ranges from $98,000 to $128,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• MBA or equivalent preferred for advanced procurement leadership.
• Requires at least 8 years related experience in purchasing/procurement.
• Extensive knowledge of purchasing policies and practices.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Kanban, and supplier development.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the procurement activities of buyers and negotiate supplier terms.
• Establish cost-effective procurement procedures for diverse materials.
• Coordinate with user reps to develop procurement programs and plans.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure delivery, quality, and price commitments.
• Assess market conditions and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
• Supervise blanket orders and long-term purchase agreements.
• Interface with suppliers on quality, engineering, and procurement matters.
• Develop long-term sourcing strategies across sites.
