Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Materials Planner to coordinate demand planning, material lead times, and dock operations at our Texas facility. You will liaise with the fulfillment program manager, demand planners, and the site to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. SAP delivery orders knowledge is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with SAP delivery orders and data reporting.
• Ability to manage material lead times and delivery orders.
• Coordinate warehouse inbound/outbound material movements.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and present data clearly.
• Experience training and onboarding team members is a plus.
• Support payroll/HR processes when needed.
• Capable of contributing to safety procedures and dock operations.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between fulfillment program manager, demand planners, and site.
• Ensure demand planning commitments meet product lead times.
• Resolve material delivery delays and report issues.
• Manage delivery-order lead times and SAP-related tasks.
• Review build/ship plans against delivery commitments.
• Identify improvements and develop project plans.
• Manage dock operations, safety procedures, and training docs.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound material planning with warehouse staff.
• Assist with onboarding and training new material planners.
• Prepare data for manager meetings and present concisely.
• Serve as backup for build supervisor and learn systems.
• Assist with payroll/HR issues and interviews.
